2/28/2025 Shady Hill (Cambridge) .5 Librarian for Fall 2025, Beginners - 8th Grade

Shady Hill School is seeking a learner-centered, justice-oriented part-time (50%) Librarian to join our team beginning in Fall 2025. The Shady Hill Library is an essential resource for our students, faculty, and apprentice teachers. Librarians provide weekly instruction, as well as reference, readers’ advisory and curricular support for the entire school community. Our library includes a collection of over 30,000 books and is heavily used, with over 20,000 materials circulating each year. This is a part-time (50%), salaried,  in-person 10-month position with benefits.  Specific schedule to be determined based on candidate availability as well as the 2025-2026 class schedule. 2/4/2025 Somerville K-8 School - Long-term Library Substitute from 2/24/2025 to 6/20/2025

Seeking a long-term substitute library/media teacher for the John F. Kennedy school, a K-8 school in Somerville. This position will begin 2/24/25 and run through 6/20/25. An emergency license for this position is fine.

• This library/media teacher will be responsible for teaching all students at the school, with grades spanning from K-8. Each class meets with the library teacher 1x/week for 40 minutes.
•  Curriculum will be provided.
